Andrea Lerda (born 1983 in Cuneo, Italy) is a curator, author and cultural mediator specialising in ecology, posthumanism and contemporary art in the Anthropocene. His curatorial practice explores the relationship between art, science and environmental awareness, and creates spaces for dialogue between human and non-human actors. Lerda is, amongst other things, a curator at the Museo Nazionale della Montagna in Turin, where he has realised projects such as ‘Tree Time’ and ‘Earthrise. Visioni pre-ecologiche dell’Anthropocene’; this summer, he also curated in South Tyrol the Trienala Ladina in the Bardia Valley and, together with Veronika Vascotto and Hannes Egger, the Fort Biennale in Franzensfeste.
