The original title of the show was Loving Vehicles. To love instruments and to be loved by instruments in return, interchangeably. Vehicles or instruments are things that move us someplace else. The idea was to present objects and sketches as the vehicles they are. Not just the things themselves but also the moving parts. Another potential show title was Indefinite beginnings which was leading in this same direction. There are titles and there are vehicles.
